Transported product can cause deterioration and wear in most traditional turn head dividers, esspecially in lean-phase pneumatic transport.  This represents a  significant maintenance cost (both in hard currency as well as in idle maintenance time) to most companies.  It was with this in mind that Van den Berg developed the BMW Wear Resistant Turn Head Divider, designed as a highly effective, contamination-free dividing system.

Features

• Was designed and developed as a component of a pneumatic transport system for powders and granulates with more than one final destination.
• Utilizes Schmeltz basalt as the coating for all surface areas that come in contact with product.  Schmeltz basalt is almost as strong as diamond, thus making it very resistant to wear.
• Can be configured and tailored (made-to-measure) for varying production processes.
